Are We Any Closer To Being Able To Control The Weather

Look at pictures of our planet the way it was 4 billion years ago. A hunk of rock in space. Today and look at everything we have been able to create from this rock. Everything starts out as an idea first and then it is created or invented. All that we have today came from this rock and many more things are yet to come.

Look at the damage that hurricane Katrina did to New Orleans. Was the money just laying around someplace so we can rebuild after these disasters? I would think that it would cost us a lot less if we could study weather and create something that could help us control this. We know what conditions are necessary for a tornadoes to evolve, the same for hurricanes, thunder storms, etc... How much money would we save if we didn't have to spend so much rebuilding after a disaster. Not to mention the lives that would be spared if we could control our weather.

Why Does America Have Such a High Conviction Rate

Several years ago my wife needed to go to the local check cashing store and I decided to go along for the ride because my wife and I have not been able to spend a lot of time together. Turned out that the check was one of these Nigerian scams and they arrested both my wife and I and for the next 3 years Broward sheriffs office decided to prosecute us for criminal intent. Over the next 3 years every time we had to go to court we had to take off from our jobs, pay for parking and spend the entire day at the courthouse.

If we had been able to fight this until the end we would have won but our jobs were telling us to end this or they would have to let us go and money was very tight throughout this ordeal. Paying high dollar amounts for legal counsel, missing work, etc... Finally we for force to make a plea agreement in order to end this. My wife for misdemeanor trespassing and me for misdemeanor petty theft.

For Immediate Consideration Please Fax You Reusume to 912-555-1212

Now who does this company think is going to apply for this job? Let me guess, I'll fax them my resume from my current employers fax machine. I'm the only one who ever uses that damn machine anyway. How many of you unemployed people have a fax machine in your home? I would think that unemployed people do not have upper five figures at their disposal where they can spend this unneeded money of using the fax service at the local print shop. Now there are services that have what is called internet fax but they still charge for this.

In Everything It's All Just A Numbers Game

I am so tired and so broke. I have spent the past few months applying for so many different jobs but yet it is soo hard for the businesses to make a decision. I call them every few days but still they keep on waiting. I have always told myself that because of my ethics and the fact that I like to sleep at night with a clear conscience that I will not join any of MLM or business opportunities because I think they are just ripping people off. The same with those gifting programs but yet you have to know that even if you don't get somebody to join somebody else will.

Our Economy Was Last Good Before Bush

My wife and I were talking last night and we were trying to remember back to the last times that a gallon of gas price was good, which means less than a pack of Marlboro. All of the reasons why the economy is so bad is because of the price for a barrel of oil Think about it. Oil prices reaching an all time high of over $100 per barrel has created a chain reaction. Pricing for milk, eggs, meat, poultry, and everything else has gone up because of the amount of gas it now takes to move these products. Gas used to remain at a somewhat stead pricing of around a dollar per gallon but the way we are heading gas will soon be the largest expense of our income.

Only about 10 percent of these reports are actually any good but yet the ones that are good will bring you to a One Time Offer page after you enter your email into the squeeze page form.

Wrong Number Marketing

Over the years it has gotten harder and harder to find new effective ways to market your wares. With direct mail you may be lucky enough to get maybe a quarter of a percent positive response. If you use a little creativity and send a postcard with a picture of someplace like Hawaii and a message that looks hand written then maybe you'll get a 2 or 3 percent positive response. Blanket an entire zip code, sending out thousands of these post cards to maybe get 2 or 3 sales.

A Big Bravo to Microsoft And Another One To Bill Gates

I admit for the last little over a decade I have not been real happy with either one. I lost almost 2 years of my life because of myself following what Microsoft instructed me over the phone to do. For almost 2 years I was held in federal custody and my family had to live in homeless shelters during this time. I have spent the last decade collecting as much negative info as I could find about Microsoft and my Brother wants me to put all of this into a movie which would seriously cripple Microsoft and it's founder Mr. Gates.

A Scam In Sheeps Clothing Is Still A Scam

You would think that with everything I have been through in life that I would be better prepared but You open an envelope, see the money and only skim the letter that accompanies it. This is why even today a lot of people still become victims to this. I have no doubts that somebody is laughing at me now as I write this.

My wife and myself were victims to something like this about 4 years ago. We ended up losing everything including 3 years of our lives. Because of what happened my wife is now a member of a non profit designed to help victims and educate people. The organization is Fraudaid. Back then we had done everything that a responsible merchant knows to do and we still lost everything and I spent some time in jail because of it and then when I finally got out it was on house arrest.

An Easy Way To Create and Get Unique Articles For Your Site And Blog

There are a lot of marketers out there that will give you PLR articles as a bonus with something else you have bought. Changing several of the paragraphs is not enough. If you leave just one paragraph intact then you have committed plagiarism and Google and several other search engines may see this as duplicate content. However, there is a way to make sure the articles are 100 percent unique. Imagine a traffic accident which is witnessed by many different people at the same time. Each person will tell a different story about what happened.

The easiest way is to just read each article you have and write each one in your own words as an article. Everything always has a different meaning to each person who hears it. To do this you are maybe looking at just 15 minutes of your time for each article. Do the math, How many would you then be able to write with just an hour of your time? How many with an entire day?

If You Still Have Doubts Then Lay Them To Rest After Reading This

My wife and I were shopping for a new car. Our Jeep had some current problem with something called a freeze plug so after talking with a lot of mechanics we came to the conclusion that it was time to get something else. We went to a Toyota lot in Savannah and in the used lot they had a 2 year old PT Cruiser. We had seen a few around our home town occasionally and liked the way they looked and drove. That afternoon we returned home in our new PT Cruiser and low and behold we started seeing them all over town.

It's like when you were a kid and it was your Birthday. As soon as that first card showed up in the mail you started getting them from everybody. When we are kids very seldom do we think about things like bills. We think about Birthday cards and we start to get a lot of them at a time. A lot of adults are always thinking that they have too many bills or not enough money and that is what is being attracted to them because that is what they are thinking about the most.

Friends, Not Part of My Destiny To Ever Have One

Over a dozen years ago I had a best friend named Phillip. We both worked for the same company and when we first met we could not stand each other. Our boss was making us work together on things and over time we found out we had a lot of things in common and for the next 3 years Phillip was my best friend. Whenever I needed someone to talk to he was there and vice versa plus we would go bowling together about once a week and we both enjoyed SciFi shows like Star Trek.

During this time I had left my job and started my own company. Phillip and I had made a mutual agreement that if he became interested in a lady that worked for me he would not pursue a relationship with her as this might cause future problems Several years later Phillip did become interested in a lady that worked for me and Phillip took me aside and asked for permission to date this lady. This caused a huge argument between Phillip and I and our friendship almost completely disappeared because of this.

Are We Destined to become Robots

When you go through the drive through at a nearby fast food restaurant do you want a robot to take your order? Wouldn't you rather talk to a human that greets you like a person? Do we want our children to address us as yes sir and ma'am? Does anybody actually want to date the computer from the original Star Trek series? What about something more than marriage?

Are these things to become our destiny? Will robots have personality someday? There are no answers to this phenomena only a lot more questions. How far is this to go? What will become of the human touch? Do we want robots to ask us how our day has went? With robots will anybody ever stand out from the crowd? Will there ever be a Purple Cow with robots?

Work-At-Home, Freelance, Telecommute, Are They Legitimate. The Conclusion

Scams are out there everywhere you look these days. They start out by directing you to a web page that gives you a lot of Hype, Fluff, BS, and Sugar Coating. When you start a mission to find some true work at home opportunity 99% of what you are going to find are rip-offs.

I have spent almost the entire past decade seeking out this information. Most of the so called directories that are out there will charge a small fee and may have 2 or 3 legitimate companies actually listed. Unfortunately they will have a lot more bogus listing there also.

I did discover that females have a lot more options available but most of the ones I discovered do not care just as long as you can do the work. There are sites out there like phoneactresses.com that will only hire females. These people that they hire will be paid to talk dirty to guys. Have you ever seen the ads in your local paper for female dancers? The only way for a male to get past the front door would be to pay some cover charge.

An End to Gift Returns

I can't believe how much traffic there is outside. 3 days before Xmas and everybody only cares about themselves it seems. I went to Wal Mart and this lady was waiting for a space to open up and had a string of cars several blocks long waiting behind her. Where's a cop when you need one? Couldn't this lady look over her shoulder and see how much traffic was behind her?

I then went to the post office and was surprised at the long line of people all with big packages they had to send out. Don't they realize how many of these things will be returned right after the holiday? Some kid gets a new computer from his parents and all he wants is the money that was spent for the computer. What about all the kids that are secretly looking around the house trying to find out what everybody got them?

If You're Broke Give Me All Your Money And I'll Help You

I received an email the other day about getting an ebook on over 100 emergency cash generating ideas. If I was interested in something like this I sure as heck would not have almost $50 to buy this book. If the situation were that I needed to generate emergency cash I guarantee that I would not have almost $50 to throw away on something that may or may not help me to raise money. If I needed emergency cash then chances are I don't have the cash to throw away on some Ebook.

It Is Sooo Easy Once You Know How to do it the Right Way

Whether you have a list or not this is the best way to establish yourself, to gain a list, and to get sales for your product. Joint ventures can be great if you don't have your own list but what happens if you do not have a relationship with the other marketers? You need to start visiting forums and reading other peoples postings and then answering those posts. If the person who created the post likes your answer then they will read your signature and visit the site that you put in your signature.

I told my sons to do this but they just right away tried to create new threads and the moderators of these forums would then delete the posting they created. You have to crawl before you can walk. If you see a post on a forum about somebody looking for ways to get their kids into designing websites and you have a good answer for this then a lot of other people will read your reply and then want to find out more about you.

Your Own Talk Radio Show

Everybody is talking about the latest trend on the net net video but what about the latest trend for people like me who don't care about video on the web? I would rather tune into a talk radio show so I do not have to use up 100% of my attention and still be able to do other things. I have always preferred talk radio over to listening to just the latest music. I have always thought that someday I would like to have my own radio show. I have heard about people who have rented out AM radio time for their own show and I thought I would have to wait until I had some extra money for this.

MySpace, Soon to be only Dead Space

They were one of the first sites of their kind and they were great for their time but because of their pigheaded management your local cemetery will have more action than the fate of MySpace. They are constantly doing updates to their site and I know that for a period of about 2 weeks I couldn't even log into my profile. Then all of a sudden, bam, I was able to log in again. According to recent statistics MySpace is losing about 30% of their registered users a day and these people are joining sites like Facebook.

It Took 20 Hours to complete and This is Supposed to be Done Every Day

I went to bed last night at 2am because my anti virus software started to scan my system and since this takes up a lot of resources I figured that when I woke up the next day that everything would be done. Boy, was I wrong. I've been using computers for a very long time, a lot of years. I do Spyware scans, Adware scans and virus scans every day because I am running Windows as my main operating system. I need to seriously think about getting a Mac instead.

They Can Sugar Coat it All They want, It's Still a Scam

A lot of the recent so called opportunities out there in my eyes are just chain letter scams of the 21st century. They may say you are getting all this so called product but you have to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges. I can say my house is worth over a million dollars but if all the houses in my neighborhood are only selling for one hundred thousand dollars I can say my house is worth a lot more all I want but the reality is it is only worth a lot less.

EveryBody Is Always Looking For The Shortest Way To Get Rich Quick

There are very few shortcuts that might work. For the most part the reason so many fail is because they are looking for the dream, the get rich quick scheme that will require very little work on their part. Because of everybody looking for this there are so many scams out there. They will say something like this 'We will Do all The Work for you", Yeah right, if they are doing all the work then why do they even need you.

Some people do come up with a great idea and then put up a site and later on you do hear of these people selling out for millions of dollars. While this may actually happen I doubt very seriously that these people are buying into some scam opportunity that gives them a web site and does all this so called work for them. We hear stories about these people but what we don't hear about is the hard work that it took them to make a go of their business idea.

Why Don't They Ever Listen

My wife and myself are constantly telling our kids don't do this or do things this way but they have a mind of their own and never seem to take our advice. Our oldest son has had to go to jail 2 times in the last week. He doesn't have a drivers license and yet he would always drive in these bad areas that the police are always watching. He has received 4 tickets for driving without a license and yet he has missed all of his court dates. The first time he was arrested he still could not understand why a bondsman would not post bond for him.

I finally was able to get him out, not by posting bond but instead contacting a friend at the Public Defenders office.. When he got out I told him "DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR AGAIN UNTIL YOU GET YOU LICENSE". Does he listen, hell no. Friday night he was arrested again, only 2 days after he just got out of jail from his last time. Fortunately the police finally impounded his car.

Why Do We Still Have Wars

Worldwide we have come such a long way the last few thousand years, especially the last 50 years. Just over the past 20 years look at all we have created like the web, cures for diseases, the Ipod, MP3 players, etc... So why is it we are always involved in some sort of battle somewhere? We have the technology to completely remove any dependance on oil. Look at Brazil, no oil is used for fuel at all.

I can remember 35 years ago my father complaining about the high cost of Gasoline, back then it was like less than half a dollar a gallon. Nowadays we are paying like 8 times that amount to fuel our cars. Look how much money is spent on fuel just for these military vehicles that are involved in these wars. How much fuel does a tank require? What about the fuel requirements of a battleship?

MySpace, No Space for the Less Than Perfect

MySpace is a great place to make a lot of friends and for people to do something noteworthy. If you are a guy who looks like Brad Pitt or a female that looks like Angelina Jolie this site can be great but what about the millions of people who are less thanperfect?

I have spent some time looking for friends to add and all I see are these pictures of great looking people. If you have a deformity I guess you could put up a picture of a nice looking person and others on MySpace will never know. If you are bound to a wheelchair this is not what you have to show the rest of the world.

Have you ever thought about what a color blind or vision impaired person sees when that CAPTCHA pops up? I had to use the windows magnifier to even see the text in the CAPTCHA. At least sites like Google will help users that have problems with this button you can click so the CAPTCHA is told to you via audio.

Vote Whoopi as Our Next President

If our forefathers were here today they would either scout out an island someplace and found a new country or commit suicide. These days it is not a choice of who will run our country the best but a choice in who will finch off the United States the fastest. Hillary could win because she is female and a Democrat but this is a scary thought, are we the next Iron Curtain?

What needs to be done and what will be done are two completely different scenarios. The last decent president we had was Bill Clinton. As an individual person he may have been an A****E but our country did its best under him. I can't believe that President Bush was even reelected. reelecting Bush was like Wal-Mart buying something for a dollar and selling it for 10 cents hoping to make it up in volume.

The Many Different Softwares for Rewriting articles

I have spent the last 2 weeks examining the many different softwares out there that will rewrite your articles so that each site you submit to will have an article that is completely unique. Back a few years ago their was a lot of software that would rewrite your articles and then create all these Adsense sites for you. The problem being with this is that most of the rewritten articles were not readable at all by humans, only machines would see the keywords that were placed throughout the article and that's pretty much all they were concerned about.

list price: $19.99 USD

Recently, MySpace.com has become one of the most-visited Web sites in the world. With millions of young users, this one site has made a giant impact on youth pop culture in just a matter of a few years. At the same time, themes of spirituality pervade our lives. From television to film and popular literature, theology is a burgeoning enterprise in popular culture. In contrast, most churches and denominations are built on eighteenth-century principles, and are fighting to remain relevant to young members. The collective fear is that if the church doesn't adapt to this new generation, they will be left behind forever. Christian and Amy Piatt believe church leaders have a responsibility to stay tuned in to the values and vernacular employed by the younger generations.
